*Our team has worked a little more independently over the last week. We have a lot to accomplish in a short period of time so we are working smarter. This week, each of the team members has identified an area for focus and we are working independently to complete each section. We are staying in touch to confirm ideas, procedures, etc. Later, we will review each other's work as a team and make any necessary changes.

*As the "Lead Instructional Designer" I tried to move the Content Analyis part of the project forward. Danita also wanted to work on the tasks/objectives and we ended up working on them together. Danita also took on the role of writing assessment items for each objective. She and Kris worked together to develop the items and I reviewed the assessments and made some suggestion/edits.

After receiving feedback we wrote the analysis parts and compiled the information into one document for our SME. I reviewed/edited the document and published it to the team website. We also discussed plans for next week and the various tasks each of member would complete for the project plan.

I have devoted about 13 hours this week to the project. Specifically to the charter; ironing out the overall goal, client need, and materials needed. I have also updated the team webpage, logo for letterhead, etc. Our team came together this week to work through a few obstacles and make team decisions. I joked with them that I think I am spending more time talking with them on the phone than I am with my own husband.

We are moving along as a team but I have noticed that we are missing a few things on the webpage and I need to add those items. Surely the page will continue to evolve as the project progresses. I also just created a team logo/header to the page - thumbs up from the team! We still need to finish planning our meeting with Dr. Gikas and I need to read three chapters before tomorrow.
